Kristen,
Carpet beetles in large numbers usually indicate a food source. In some case after a rat or mouse dies, either under a bathtub (in the void between the subfloor and tub) or fiberglass shower pan, carpet beetles begin to feed on the fur, nesting material and carcass. Delta dust or another residual dust injected into the void under the tub or shower, and under the vanity cabinet will usually take care of the problem.

Ok question about the carpet beetle... I am finding a ton in my bathroom... they are small black hard shelled ones with a shiny back sorta... I have no clue where they are coming from. I live in Arizona - does that make a difference? Anyways, Let me know :) Thanks a ton <3
